My name is Joaquin Diaz
I’m a digital designer based in Tampa, Florida, with over five years of experience in design and a strong passion for illustrated media and storytelling. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Digital Media from St. Petersburg College, along with certifications in both Digital Video and Web Development.
My expertise spans graphic design, digital video production, and UX/UI design. I have extensive experience using the Adobe Creative Suite—especially Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere. In my web development work, I’ve created user-friendly interfaces through both hand-coded websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as content management systems like WordPress.
In my marketing work, I’ve led digital ad campaigns, managed email marketing efforts, and spent four years handling social media management.
I’m highly collaborative and enjoy working with others to develop creative concepts that connect with audiences. I am also confident working independently. I work well under pressure to deliver on tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail. In every project, I bring strong organizational and communication skills that allow me to create compelling visuals that engage and inspire.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music, and visiting museums. These activities help me stay inspired and connected to the beauty around me, which I strive to bring into my design work. I’m excited by the opportunity to bring my skills and perspective to a team that values imaginative, beautifully crafted design as much as I do.
