Porchlight Foundation

This was a project done in partnership with OCO Branding for their client called The Porchlight Foundation. The Porchlight Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to building housing for the underprivileged. I was asked to design a header animation for their website. The animation was meant to represent the hope that they seek to provide the unhoused, illustrated through the porchlight illuminating at nightfall. The design istelf was created in Adobe Illustrator and the animated elements were added using Adobe After Effects.

OCO Branding

Molten Logo

This animation was created in Adobe After Effects. This was a project assigned to me as a part of my internship for OCO branding. My supervisor asked me to animate the company logo for the brand's Instagram page. The vision was for a silvery, chrome effect that morphs and undulates almost like molten metal. My supervisor was pleased with the final result and it was posted on their Instagram page shortly after. It can also be viewed on there website here: ocobrand.wordpress.com/our-ethos

Melting Logo

This animation was also created in After Effects for an internship project. The assignment was very similar to the previous one. I was to create an animated logo, only this time to go on their website as a looped GIF. For this animation, instead of having the metalic logo morph, it needed to drip and melt. This project was a little more difficult for me, but in the end I was very happy with the result. The company ended up going a different route for the website and not using my animation, but my supervisor was still pleased with my work.

Personal Projects

Frame by Frame Animated Gif

This was one of the first animations I created. It was a project for a class as a part of my digital media degree. I animated this GIF in Adobe Photoshop by hand-drawing each frame. My professor was very pleased by my work and this is still one of my favorite creations to date.

Lightstoke Assignment

This was also a project for one of my Digital Media classes. The assignment was to create an animated light stroke text effect using my name. The animation was created entirely in Adobe After Effects.
